AFC Champions League 2021 chính thức khởi tranh trong tháng 4/2021

AFC Champions League 2021 bắt đầu lượt trận vòng bảng từ ngày 14/04/2021. Các đội bóng thuộc khu vực Tây Á sẽ thi đấu trước. Các trận đấu được tường thuật trực tiếp, bình luận trọn vẹn, duy nhất trên Truyền hình FPT và ứng dụng di động Foxy.

Những trận đấu đầu tiên sẽ diễn ra ở khu vực Tây Á với các đội bóng tới từ UAE, I-ran, Qatar… Đây là khu vực có nền bóng đá đang phát triển mạnh mẽ, và các đại diện ĐTQG đến từ khu vực Tây Á cũng thường xuyên góp mặt trong những kỳ World Cup. Chắc chắn các trận cầu sắp tới vô cùng đáng theo dõi.

Bảng A của khu vực Tây Á với sự góp mặt của Al Hilal (Ả-Rập-Xê-Út), Shabab Al Ahli Dubai (UAE), Istiklol(Tajikistan) và một đại diện khác khi vượt qua vòng loại của giải đấu. Al Hilal được đánh giá sẽ là ứng cử viên hàng đầu cho tấm vé đi tiếp. Đội hình của đội bóng này có những ngôi sao từng thi đấu tại châu Âu như Bafetimbi Gomis và Andre Carrillo.

Cùng với đó, Al Hilal đang có phong độ cao khi dẫn đầu ở giải VĐQG Ả-Rập-Xê-Út. Chắc chắn đại diện của Ả-Rập-Xê-Út sẽ là đối thủ khó chịu trong bảng đấu của họ. Rào cản đầu tiên của Al Hilal sẽ là đội giành chiến thắng trong lượt trận vòng loại. Trận đấu còn lại tại bảng A là cuộc đối đầu giữa Shabab Al Ahli Dubai và Istiklol.

Persepolis FC (Iran), Goa (Ấn Độ), Al Rayyan (Qatar) là những cái tên đã được xác định nằm tại bảng E của AFC Champions League. Bảng đấu này được đánh giá là khá cân bằng khi Goa cùng với Al Rayyan đều đang không có được phong độ ổn định tại giải VĐQG. Persepolis FC có phần nhỉnh hơn về phong độ khi họ đang trong cuộc đua tới danh hiệu vô địch giải VĐQG Iran. Cặp đấu giữa Goa – Al Rayyan ngay lượt trận đầu bảng E dự đoán sẽ rất hấp dẫn.

Bảng B là sự góp mặt của Sharjah (UAE), Pakhtakor (Uzbekistan), Tractor (Iran) và 1 cái tên khác được bổ sung khi lượt trận vòng loại khép lại. Ở lượt trận đầu tiên, Pakhtakor đối đầu Tractor. Đây sẽ là màn khởi đầu mà cả hai đội đều muốn giành được ưu thế. Màn so tài này hứa hẹn sẽ rất hấp dẫn giữa 2 nền bóng đá phát triển bậc nhất khu vực Tây Á.

Tham dự giải đấu lớn nhất châu lục dành cho cấp độ câu lạc bộ AFC Champions League, Việt Nam có 1 đại diện ưu tú là nhà đương kim vô địch V League 2020 – Viettel FC. Theo lịch thi đấu của Liên đoàn bóng đá châu Á công bố, đại diện của Việt Nam sẽ mở màn hành trình tại AFC Champions League vào tháng 6/2021. Viettel FC nằm cùng bảng với BG Pathum United (Thái Lan), Ulsan Hyundai (Hàn Quốc) và một đội vượt qua vòng loại.

Bảng đấu này được đánh giá khó khăn cho Viettel FC, khi mà những đối thủ đều đang đứng trong top tại giải VĐQG của họ. Đại diện của Thái Lan, BG Pathum United hiện dẫn đầu tại Giải Bóng đá Vô địch Quốc gia Thái Lan và đang bỏ xa đối thủ bám sau lên tới 14 điểm sau 30 vòng đấu. Và đây cũng chính là đối thủ đầu tiên của Viettel FC tại vòng bảng AFC Champions League. Một đối thủ khác của Viettel là Ulsan Hyundai FC. Hiện tại đại diện của Hàn Quốc đang đứng ở vị trí thứ 3 trên bảng xếp hạng của giải Hạng nhất Hàn Quốc – giải đấu cao nhất trong hệ thống bóng đá chuyên nghiệp của “xứ sở kim chi”. Tất cả đều là những trận đấu khó khăn của Viettel FC trong hành trình vươn ra biển lớn.
